I coordinated my first service project with the students on Wednesday, August 31st. A fourth grade student read "The Little Engine That Could" to the first grade class and they really enjoyed it. The project went well, now the other teachers want older students to read to their class as well. I am still brainstorming on ways to tie the use of smartboard in future projects.
While working with the school system it reminded me of the things I have learned over the years. When observing the classrooms at my site, I saw the different learning styles teacher use. The teachers were not using smartboard to assist them.
I am still properly introducing myself to all members of the staff.
